Hop Metal Bridge
Style: Imperial American Pale Ale
Hop Metal Bridge pays homage to our Western Pennsylvania roots and at the same time highlights what truly makes this beer standout from all the others.
Hop Metal Bridge lacks the intense bitterness to truly be called India Pale Ale. Rather, it is strategically hopped to showcase the very best in aroma and flavor our American hop selection has to offer. Technically, this beer exists in the style overlap of APA and IPA. However, the lack of harsh bitterness and the accentuated tropical/citrus fruit notes continue to make this a refreshing and drinkable option for non-ultra high-IBU fanatics. Whatever you want to call it, we are sure you will be impressed with the aromatic nature of this beer.
Food Pairing: Fried chicken, burgers, and quesadillas
Style: English Mild Brown Ale
Cheeky Bloke is our take on the sessionable, mild-mannered (go figure), and relatively obscure style.
Weighing in around 3% ABV, Cheeky Bloke breaks down the misconception that less alcoholic beers are also less flavorful. Make no mistake; this beer is far from “light.” A distinct blend of 100% English malts gives this brilliantly bright brown ale a surprising complexity that hints of toffee, toastiness, nuts, and chocolate. Cheeky Bloke is sure to be a hit with craft beer newcomers and veterans alike.
Food Pairing: Grilled meats, cheese, fall vegetables, and wild rice
Style: Chocolate Stout
If real chocolate flavor is what you’re after, this Chocolate Stout is sure to deliver.
This beer began its life as a sweet stout that everyone really seemed to enjoy. However, it wasn't enough for the chocoholic women in our lives. So, we made it sweeter, upped the pale chocolate malt, and aged it on a hefty amount of real cacao. The result is a sweet and full bodied stout reminiscent of dark gourmet chocolate.
Food Pairing: Spicy fare and dessert!
Style: Weizen/Weissbier (Hefeweizen)
Nothing is more refreshing than a girl in a dirndl…..uhhh, I mean a Hefeweizen.
This classic Bavarian Weissbier is brewed with only two German sourced malts (Pilsner and wheat), gently hopped, and fermented cool to induce the clove phenol that is the signature of this style. Expect a hazy, pale, straw color and effervescent body suggestive of its refreshingly mild nature.
Food Pairing: Great with bratwurst, weisswurst, pierogi, etc. as well as lighter meals such as seafood, sushi, and salad.
Style: Saison (Belgian Farmhouse Ale)
The Spring offering of our Quatre Saisons (Four Seasons) series of farmhouse inspired ales.
Nouveau Départ (New Beginning) is the result of a simple recipe made up of quality ingredients and extremely unique yeast. We allow the fermentation temperature to rise, forcing the yeast to impart a complexity of flavors and aromas such as pepper, pear, citrus, and fresh cut hay. This highly carbonated refreshing saison with a very slight barnyard funk is sure to be your next lawnmower beer.
Food Pairing: This spicy saison does a great job of accentuating herbs and spices. Try with lemon pepper pork or garlic and herb chicken. Our favorite: Nouveau Départ and a grilled peppercorn steak.
